This beginning training is one of the most thorough available. It includes Reiki I & II and combines the Western style as introduced by Mrs. Takata, the Japanese Reiki Techniques, and the Holy Fire® healing energy. After completing the class, you will be able to give Reiki treatments to yourself and others. Reiki  1 & 2 are taught together during a weekend intensive. Both Placements (attunements) are given.

All the information and techniques for both levels are covered, including:

-The nature of Reiki
-The Reiki ideas
-The standard Reiki session hand positions.
-Delivering a complete Reiki session for self and others.
-Learn the basic Anatomy for Reiki

As taught by Usui Sensei, Japanese Reiki Techniques include:

-Gassho meditation, Reiji-ho: Using inner guidance to know how and where to treat, Byosen Scanning: Using the sensitivity in the hands to locate areas needing healing (usually in the aura) and to treat them, Gyoshi ho - sending Reiki with the eyes, Kenyoku: Dry bathing, a method to purify your energy field.

-Hayashi Healing Guide.
-Using Reiki for specific conditions

-The Reiki 2 symbols: How to draw, activate and use them. Their many uses are explained, and their inner
meaning is discussed. Practice time is given so students know from experience how the energy of each symbol feels and the results each symbol produces.
Using Reiki to heal unwanted habits.

-Introduction to the Four Elements (Earth, Water, Fire, and Air) in Astrology and Their Meaning

-Astrological Elemental Fusion Technique with Reiki and Reiki Symbols

-Distant healing

The class is a combination of lectures, discussion, and experience. Practice time includes giving and receiving a complete Reiki treatment using all the hand positions, the self-treatment, practice using all the level II symbols, including distant healing, and method using all the Japanese Reiki Techniques mentioned above.

To prepare for class, bring a bottle of water or beverage of choice (no alcoholic drinks), light snacks, and dress comfortably. Bring a yoga mat with a bolster. There is a break for lunch, as well as several shorter breaks for snacks and restrooms. Class times are from 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. each day.

While practice occurs during the class, you are encouraged to set aside additional time to practice after class. Please commit to this extra time, one evening a week for several weeks or equivalent, to practice Reiki with one or more people from your Reiki class or with family or friends. You are welcome to participate in our monthly Reiki cleansing circle event to practice your Reiki techniques with our attendees. This additional practice is necessary to gain the experience and confidence you need to utilize the Reiki training fully.
No smoking or vaping is allowed during class.
